Privacy policy

Nothing. Thumb Arc has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking. The app doesn't request Android's internet permission, so it can't connect to us or to anyone else.

Thumb Arc is an accessibility service. That is how it shows the pad and cursor over other apps and taps, long-presses, scrolls or goes Back where you point. To do that, it reads:

• the layout of the screen: where buttons, lists, sliders and text fields are, so the cursor can snap onto buttons and the ring knows what to do;
• the text field under the cursor, only when you've turned on Smart ring, so it can move the text cursor and select, copy, cut or paste;
• which app is open and whether the keyboard is showing, so the pad can step out of the way and use the per-app settings you chose.

This is processed in your phone's memory while you use it. Thumb Arc doesn't save it, log it, or share it with anyone. It never acts on its own: every tap, scroll or edit follows something you did on the pad.

Your choices (corner, colours, sizes, nub character, per-app ring modes and any apps you excluded) are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. They're never sent anywhere. Uninstalling Thumb Arc, or clearing its storage, deletes them.

Thumb Arc Pro and the Animals pack are sold through Google Play. Google handles payment and your payment details. We never see them. The app receives only a record of which products you own, so it can unlock them, and keeps that record on your phone. Google's privacy policy covers purchases: policies.google.com/privacy.

Thumb Arc isn't directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. If Thumb Arc ever needed the internet or collected any data, this page and the app's Google Play listing would say so before that update was released.
