About
Hi, I'm Eliud.
I'm a backend and data engineer in Nairobi. For the last four years I've built the parts of systems people don't see but depend on: the databases, pipelines, access rules and integrations behind hospitals, government offices and growing companies.
I trained in electrical and electronic engineering, then data science at Moringa School, and moved into data and backend work through logistics, agriculture and healthcare. Most recently I led a team of five engineers and three researchers building platforms for Kenyan government offices and the UN Environment Programme.
Alongside client work I build and run my own products, including LightningPDF, ThunderHooks and devformat.tools. They keep my operations skills honest, because nobody else is on call.
